🚀 Getting Started

Welcome to q, the tiniest Claude Code CLI—ask, pipe, chat! This tool lets you easily communicate with AI using a command line interface. Whether you’re seeking quick information or want to chat with an AI assistant, q makes it simple and efficient.

📦 Download & Install

To get started, visit the page below to download the latest version of q:

Follow these steps to install and run q:

1. Visit the Releases Page
   Click here to go to the releases page.

2. Choose the Latest Release
   Look for the latest version of q listed at the top. It usually has the highest version number.

3. Download the File
   Click on the appropriate download link for your operating system (Windows, Mac, or Linux). The files will typically end with .exe for Windows or .tar.gz for Linux/Mac.

4. Locate the Downloaded File
   Once the download completes, find the file in your downloads folder or your specified download location.

5. Extract the File (if necessary)
   If you downloaded a .tar.gz file, you will need to extract it. On Windows, right-click the file and select “Extract All.” On Mac, double-click the file.

6. Run the Application
   • For Windows: Double-click the .exe file.
   • For Mac/Linux: Open a terminal, navigate to the directory where you extracted the files, and run the command ./q (make sure to give execute permission if needed).
7. Start Using q
   Once you open the application, you can start typing your queries. Enjoy chatting with AI or piping commands to other tools!
